I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

and by "we could also do this," i don't mean to imply you or others aren't already doing this, this is to say that anyone following this situation can learn from someone else's mistakes too

but it is a mistake and i think mistakes are learning opportunities to be better, and to identify the problem and find a solution.

i don't disagree. i don't have an excuse or reasonable explanation for her mistake.

i think she could've owned this and in turn she (and we) could promote stuff like ai-detection training courses, the importance of multiple sources, listening to people who live in these cities, etc.

that's unfortunate. i don't think making a mistake like this is the end of the world, i just think we need to be hyper-aware of the things we post, especially when our feelings are being preyed upon like this to fit someone else's agenda

if you look at the people involved in the genAI/tech industry and who they're involved with, you can quickly realize that genAI is a FASCIST TOOL being used to manipulate the way people vote, spend, feel, and think.

while a lot of us stay diligent and question everything we see online, it's important to highlight that A LOT of people don't, and even well-meaning people can easily fall for stuff like this.

thankfully there are signs that outed this right away for most people, but some of the videos coming out of sora are less obvious.
