I suspect I know what today's Brewer History calendar entry is going to be going forward.

I suspect I know what today's Brewer History calendar entry is going to be going forward.
18.10.2025 02:48 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I can only speak from my own experience here, but the best way to work on your writing is to write. A lot. You need a routine, you need a rhythm, it's how you develop your voice. You should also read, too, and I don't just mean books. Just keep all of that part of your brain active and well-fed.
17.10.2025 10:49 β π 23 π 3 π¬ 1 π 0Umpire cam was so close to the play that you could see the second Freddie Freeman spotted updog.
17.10.2025 00:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Everyone loves their manager when he wins, but this is the kind of stuff that gets old real fast when he doesn't.
16.10.2025 01:32 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0I think it's weird Pat Murphy thinks his whole staff should make less than Blake Snell
16.10.2025 01:27 β π 55 π 4 π¬ 1 π 0Looks like a strong possibility road teams are about to improve to 5-0 in the LCS this season, so at least the Brewers have that going for them.
16.10.2025 01:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Remember back in early August when the Brewers were 44-16 in their last 60 games, the best 60-game stretch in franchise history?
It turns out this season they also had the best stretch of every number of games from 61-103, also.
The grumpiest people in America right now are the news people working at Fox affiliates around the country waiting for this post-game to end so they can produce an extremely late local newscast no one will watch.
11.10.2025 05:15 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Good thing Crawford didn't bunt there.
11.10.2025 05:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not one of you took me up on this and now this game is eternal.
11.10.2025 04:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This ump cam gets us so close to the action you can almost see updog.
11.10.2025 01:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 1Brewers pitching in this series has allowed 11 runs in the 4 first innings of this series. Across the other 26 innings? 2 runs.
10.10.2025 02:24 β π 13 π 3 π¬ 1 π 1Cubs-Brewers Game 4 on Thursday night will be an 8:08 p.m. CT start at Wrigley.
09.10.2025 04:05 β π 36 π 10 π¬ 4 π 1There's a whole Effectively Wild episode about the risk of this.
09.10.2025 01:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I had the volume up on the Yankees game for less than half an inning before hearing John Smoltz derisively refer to "analytics" and now I want to stick my head in the microwave.
09.10.2025 00:28 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Back at the trade deadline someone predicted that the Brewers had just signed themselves up for Andruw Monasterio batting with a playoff game on the line.
I can't seem to find the post now but if it was you, congrats.
I wonder how many times over the years i've talked on podcasts with Chris Mehring about the skill of being a reliever who comes in and immediately throws strikes.
09.10.2025 00:08 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0When LatAm players act the way PCA does, they get talked about very differently.
08.10.2025 23:21 β π 27 π 6 π¬ 2 π 2At least today the people having a conniption because other people aren't loud enough are at Wrigley, not AmFam.
08.10.2025 23:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That sound you just heard is Brant Brown, trapped there for decades, getting off the hook.
08.10.2025 21:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I see The Athletic is identifying s hockey contract as the greatest bargain in sports history and completely ignoring the Brewers getting Andrew Vaughn for someone who didn't want to be there.
08.10.2025 14:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The Brewers could hand out air horns at the gate and there'd still be someone running around screaming that they're going to lose because people aren't using them enough.
07.10.2025 16:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Are we really back to "it's not loud enough in here" discourse? This is my least favorite postseason narrative.
07.10.2025 16:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0You know, for all the talk about the gritty small-ball Brewers ..
they've been mashing, too
in Aug: third best SLG % in baseball
Most RBIs, #Brewers postseason history:
Ryan Braun - 16 (114 PA)
Cecil Cooper - 13 (71 PA)
Jackson Chourio (18 PA) & Paul Molitor (77 PA) - 9
Obviously winning Game 1 improved the Brewers' chances of winning the NLDS, but how much? My latest for Shepherd Express looked at the numbers several ways: share.google/kTU4kgS4JHoz...
07.10.2025 02:29 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 1If the Brewers win this game folks are going to have to do some real mental gymnastics to continue the "they aren't dependent on home runs" narrative.
07.10.2025 02:20 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Has anyone tried just asking thr Brewers and Cubs to start a little earlier tonight? So many of us have work in the morning.
06.10.2025 14:45 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am irrationally excited to watch an extra inning game with no zombie runner.
