It's been long enough, and I'm saying it.

This little bastard deserves better.

You know, I never understood the hate for Scrappy. I mean from what I understand he literally helped save the Scooby-Doo franchise in the late 70's/early 80's.

And sure, he was a lot at times, but he was just a kid.

I just think he gets a bad rap.

I'm legit tired of lazy writing for Scrappy-Doo as a villain or a joke. Bring him back to the series in a sincere way. Make him what he was meant to be. A puppy that looks up to his famous uncle and wants to impress him. With all the talented animation writers these days, it should be doable!

Hot Take. Scrappy-Doo did nothing wrong, and there's no reason WB Animation shouldn't re-incorporate him back into the series with a modern take on the character!
