Doing lots of media today about new A o Canterbury. Praying for this church which has amazing reach. Sad they have appointed someone who doesn't seem to follow bible's teaching on the gospel, beginning of life, sexual ethics, or indeed men and women. Praying for faithful C of E friends processing.

A powerful depiction of what will happen if our parliament votes in favour of assisted suicide. Please keep on urging your local MP to vote against this terrible law.

People can qualify for Assisted Suicide if Doctors presume capacity β 51% certainty is ok, they have learning difficulties or a mental illness are depressed or suicidal, Feel they are βa burdenβ to others, families need not know until after the death... does this not sound inhumane and immoral?

Profound thought from one of the Valley of Vision prayers today:
I am never so much mine as when I am his,
or so much lost to myself until lost in him;
then I find my true manhood.
Final days for booking up for this excellent conference from @affinitytalks

hopefully the exposure of the facts will stop the MP's from voting in favour if assisting suicide and in time public opinion will change as well

@jdvance1.bsky.social Rory Stewart spat has got people talking about Christian ethics at root of Western civilisation. Granted most of it rather predictable due to political allegiances, including Christians, but still we're talking about what God's word says. It's a start.

A once in a decade opportunity to say we do not want to make it lawful to kill. As if it needed saying. To say to the ones we love I will take care of you, I will love you, I will not expect you to get out of the way.

Excellent Affinity Talks Gospel Podcast about beauty of how women complement men. Loved the call to positively broaden the discussion. Highly recommend. We need to teach and talk about this a lot more.

Desperately sad for survivors who were treated terribly.Inevitable he had to resign for his personal/collective responsibility. Sad to say he also should have resigned for publicly contradicting the Bible/canons.Pray for revival.
