Focal 📷 Ranges

A variated orchid, shot with a Nikon Z9 and Laowa 2x 100mm manual macro lens, lit with an Adaptalux lighting system. Completed in 12 focus-stacked images and processed through Helicon Focus and Capture One Pro. Yes, i know there is one slight miss in the stack. Meh.

i posted this a little while ago over on my @focalranges@mas.to account, and thought i would share it here too. i haven't yet explored what the acceptance/tolerance here is for #photography #macrophotography self-promotion, etc. i'm really here to follow the cool science & journo kids anyway.
