I am going to be working normal day shift hours for the first time in my life ! While I'm still mourning the pay cut from the lack of weekend or night bonus, I'm already amazed at the possibility to participate in planned events every week.

I'm addicted already can someone please help me? I'll probably spend my Sunday locked inside at this rate 😤

Doing great ! Successfully moved to Iceland and back, found a job and an apartment in Besançon. It's close to where my parents live and one of my brothers also lives here. I never imagined I'd find a job here when I decided to go back to France.

I've been playing hades II and it's great so far !

Great news, I've found a good apartment to rent !

I also started my job on Friday and for the first time ever I can't wait to go back. Everyone seems really knowledgeable and dedicated, the job will be super interesting and the people seem very friendly.

Forgot to mention the city is also surrounded by a big river and lush hills. Right above the city is a lovely UNESCO site citadel built by Vauban offering some great views.

Haven't posted lately as I'm busy hunting for a place to rent in Besançon. The city is very pretty.

Other good points include moving to a nice little french city really close to nature, and only being a 1 hour drive away from my parents which is great news considering the evolution of my mum's condition is still uncertain at this point.

I also forgot to mention I will be working day shifts for the first time ever, which should be good health wise in the long run.

Hooray I got the job ! Very happy to land back on my feet after a month of uncertainty following our decision to leave Iceland 😁

Today I went to the cute little town of Dole 😊🇫🇷

I also went to the art museum, it's entirely free and is one of my favourite museums. I went so many times as a kid 😊
