I’m as gobsmacked as many people by recent #SCOTUS opinions. Precedent, logical reasoning, and human decency are all out the window in many of them. But not all. Some majority opinions and dissents are thoughtful, respectful, and, IMHO, follow the principles of stare decisis and basic Con law. 1/2

Bunches more of us also would be out there if we could - health or other reasons keeping us home. I’m sure transportation is an issue for others. Given the literal definition of deportation is removing a foreigner or noncitizen from the country, we - journalists, media orgs - should probably all stop referring to the ‘deportation’ of a 2 year old US citizen. It’s NOT a deportation.

Can you please address the pros and cons of democrats refusing to give unanimous consent on Senate proceedings? I don’t understand why we are being so compliant when they are not even pretending to follow the Constitution. Someone - like you - must lead the resistance.

I bought a pattern for a beautiful pair of Pride & Prejudice mittens from AnnE last year (on my Mastodon account - I don’t know how to share friends!!) and I need to get over my fear of DPNs and colorwork to make them. But she swore she’d help, as did Caz! 😂
