It’s been a hell of a year for our household and I, for one, am looking to moving into 2026 with new energy, new work, and new opportunities.

It’s hard to pin down just one. Top of the list have to be Thelma and Louise, my backyard chickens. Hands down the sweetest, silliest and best girls around. In second place are probably Mourning Doves for their sweet demeanor and close-knit family dynamics. And in third are hummingbirds.

So good!

Four new pieces for an upcoming show at Nucleus Portland. These will be available in June for the annual SALUT! group show.

For those wondering, I used Nitram’s Liquid Charcoal which is essentially an erasable hybrid between charcoal and watercolor.

I fully agree. What a relief to be able to post what do without fear of censorship.

This body of work is an ode to time in Southern Appalachia, punctuated by Hurricane Helene and its aftermath.

The opening is from 5-7pm and all are welcome.

For those following along, this is the second in a two-part exhibition that debuted at H Gallery in Paris this past October.
