We at the Ultima 6 Project also did trailers and milestones so that we could recruit ppl to volunteer to help and to let the end audience have a chance to playtest to help us and speed things up and get a glimpse of the things we planned and we listened to feedback to adjust things along the way

We had to do the same - volunteer/fan projects are NOT like commercial ones, we didn't have a budget so you cannot make time restraints or else there is no one working on the project. I understand how ppl feel but I know the other side, they recruit via trailers else how should they get help?

Having been a Game Producer and Developer for the Ultima 6 Project, and the same is true for the Ultima 5 remake by Team Lazarus, fan-made remakes have to be voluntary so sadly it takes time but with enough love from the developers they can bring them to fruition; hope they make the fall deadline

This is a must read. Though I have not experienced her exact health issue, I have firsthand had to deal with the rest. Women have to deal with a plethora of misogyny and rarely do we have any recourse. Our medical professionals and institutions need to step up and do better and be better.
