Reading the notes of the Russian translation, I feel a great sense of solidarity

He. Does not speak regular Japanese. On first listen, I sometimes have not a clue what he is saying.

For this coming episode, [35] I have decided not to italicize or emphasise any of Lapin's weird manners of speaking in my translation, in hopes of it being easier to read; I'm sure you can hear it anyway.
[Italicizing every foreign word he uses would be a nightmare anyway.]

Seeing the callback in this episode made me miss doing the earlier episodes.

I had a script for Pokonyan somewhere; but that's not getting finished anytime soon; there's someone else passionate about the series, so I imagine by the time I work on it, they will have beaten me to it

I'll probably work on Mama Poyo after Kiko-chan [anime] is done; of course I'll work on the manga alongside that.

If I can keep up doing an episode a week, I'll be done with Kiko-chan sometime around the new year... It's been a long time doing this

It's so surreal seeing Kiko-chan videos get thousands of likes on Tiktok... I always assumed it would only be known to the few people who grew up with it, and people like me who actively search for obscure anime...
