CDC declared a Salmonella outbreak linked to SunFed Produce cucumbers. As of today (11/30), there have been 68 reported cases across the US (sorry Montana).

Outbreaks of E. coli Infections This page represents multistate foodborne outbreak investigations involving <em>E. coli</em> since 2006.

Recently, the CDC has reported a couple of E. coli outbreaks (different strains) traced back to onions & carrots.
They have a whole page dedicated to E. coli outbreaks.

I’m highlighting CDC’s “Germs Develop Antibiotic Resistance” timeline. Long story short, organisms develop resistance quickly.

For example, in the 1940s, S. aureus developed resistance to penicillin in 1 year.
