^you are spot on, it's true that democrats outnumber Republicans, sadly, alongside the gerrymandering (yes, our current map is also heavily gerrymandered, we have pretty lowish voter turnout. But, let's not also not forget the other tactics here in Texas to suppress the vote.

Ugh, of course this has to happen in my state. This state is so freaking backwards. My heart goes out to this woman, who not only lost her child, but is also facing jail time on top of this.

As a Texas woman myself, I'm glad I'm not planning to have any kids. I would love to move to a blue state, but I can't because it's financially infeasible at the moment.

Even as a U.S citizen, afraid to travel out of the country, and trying to come back. And that saying something. I'm very afraid of getting on a plane right now due to all of the back to back plane crashes that's been happening as of late.

It's little things like this that give me hope. One small action is towards oir goal instead of doing nothing at all.

Except, it's not the tarrifed country that's paying them. It's us, the consumers here in the USA that will pay them in the form of higher prices.

As a job seeker myself (as of a month ago), let me say it's tough out there. In the past month alone, I've applied to at least 8 different jobs and have not heard anything. No email, message, or requests for interview.

Some apply to 100 jobs and only get a few or no responses at all.
