BACKGROUND:

So Finlay was initially created as a prototype of an organ replication machine - the idea being that it would take samples of either preserved organs or live subjects, and be able to produce perfect replications of their organs on demand

There are many different methods xe can use to take samples, but what gives xim the most complete and accurate samples is enveloping a person whole with xis slimy body, breaking their body down, and then reforming them once a sample has been collected and fully analyzed for future replication

BODILY MAKEUP:

Xe is a bio-engineered construct, made of nanobots joined together with slime-like material that store the genetic samples xe collects and uses to change xis appearance.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Xe can only replicate biological/organic attributes from the people xe takes samples from, so xe can't copy technological augmentations, anything magical, etc.

But One Special Thing about xim is xe's not restricted to just ONE form - xe can take attributes from other samples xe's taken and mix and match

I.e. xe can take on the form of someone who's a natural brown eyed brunette but swap im some raven hair and green eyes from other samples xe has

Pronouns are xe/xim, but accepts basically any pronouns matching whatever xis current gender presentation happens to be

Xe's a "copy slime" - xe can use genetic samples xe takes from other people to take on their fleshly form
