The sign read: "Closed For Repairs". After years of cranking in perpetual circles, The motion was no longer fluid. The ride would stop with a jerking motion Then restart with a thrust and lunge forward. The joints were eroding, the motor rusted, The ride was quite simply no longer safe. He read the sign twice. He gazed up at the wheel. He remembered all the rides spanning multiple the decades. Then, with the first deep breath he had expelled in years, He uttered softly, too softly to be audible to passersby, "That's okay. This change is good. Life has spun me in enough circles.
