Yes and no. If in the US, you're living in a country which is the largest producer and exporter of methane gas in history. Our prices are somewhat influenced by the global market, but pipeline constraints mean there's a limit to how much can be exported now. So I'd expect less impact on prices

We don't get a ton of snow most winters, but this one has been exceptionally cold and snowy. They do use salt on the roads after storms to keep things passable

A reminder: ICE vehicles waste a whopping 80% of energy in their fuel.

EVs are propelled by entirely different mechanisms. Energy enters the vehicle as electricity, which directly powers the drivetrain making it 3-4x more efficient.
