I'm not sure

I try to make my LGBTQ characters 3 dimensional, give them flaws like we all do

I feel those of us who don't have that lived experience can sometimes overcompensate and avoid that, which I feel can come across a bit condescending, if well intentioned

The lived experiences of Black and LGBTQ+ folks too often include facing real-life horrors rooted in racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.

I got Robert Gatheridge from my second book LOST WITNESS, who's bi but doesn't realise he is until halfway through

And in KILLER KAGAMI there is a strong indication in my mind that one of the main characters, Doctor Burrup is gay, and kept in check by his trans associate Lilac

I've seen the film a bunch and wanna see what the structure is like in it's original, martyoshka doll esque form

Going forwards and then backwards in time rather than cutting back and forth between the stories
