One of the most infamous, the alleged underground Hamas command center at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, used to justify an unprecedented assault on the biggest medical center in Gaza, was actually an animation the IDF had used the previous year, saying at the time it was a tunnel beneath a UN school.

Likely the latter, knowing them. I was the first in my family to go to university and did a 'soft' degree (history + philosophy), as they would see it. I reckon I've used the skills I picked up in my degree every day since and I'm not a historian or a philosopher haha.

People like Badenoch go out of their way to either pretend or believe that degrees aren't about transferable skills and experience. Not everyone doing English is going to be an editor; that's not how it works. Absolutely boils my piss.

Fun fact: I studied English. It meant I was able to move from a council estate and now I run my business and employ people, doing nothing to do with English. Its almost as if completing a degree in itself has an intrinsic value, especially if it allows social mobility...
