I'm not sure the point of Sportscenter doing a series of "what (insert you know who) song best describes (insert athlete)?"

Real talk here. There's a certain pop star who I personally don't find that interesting but I do understand why everyone else loves her. What I don't get, though, is that her self-created public persona is how everyone is so mean to her when she is literally the world's most beloved celebrity.

The other British TV crime drama trope is the non-police civilian that solves all their cases. The vicar, the professor, psychologists, retirees, etc. They always seem to know more than the cops.

One year ago today:
One of my greatest lifetime achievements. After several years of pestering the Twins via social media, I finally got them to play "Can't Hardly Wait" between innings of a game at Target Field. It was glorious.

On this day in 1990, The Replacements released their seventh and final studio album “All Shook Down” featuring “Merry Go Round" “Bent Out of Shape" and “Someone Take the Wheel"

Oh yeah, I forgot about Kamille!!! That would be a great rivalry. But yeah, Toni is wonderful. I also root for her in every match, and her promos are so hilarious I quite often rewind to hear her lines a second (or third) time.

I wish I had made it to Palmer's at some point.

We note the passing of Minneapolis institution, Palmer's Bar, and more than that, an Era, as today the West Bank's last historic bar closes. It joins the fondly remembered geography of good music and cheap drinks that was marked by the Triangle, the Viking, the 400, and the Nomad and is now history.

Don't laugh as I'm going to talk "wrasslin" in this post but I just have to say that by far my favorite current wrestler is #AEW's #ToniStorm. Her character, her presentation, and her double entendre mic work is better than anyone that's regularly on my telly.
