-Out of battle abilities besides Pickup were only added in Emerald

-If you want to catch a rare Safari Pokemon for your team, consider the Bait strat

-In Non-European versions, the Nugget Bridge exploit was patched

-The Sevii Islands quest is the best part of the game imo, don't skip it!

Tips for players new to FRLG:

-Dark/Ghost moves are hard to come by, and even then you'll probably have to settle for stuff like Bite and Faint Attack

-A lot of TMs are either really pricey or in the late game, but some Pokemon kind of need them (Like Sandshrew and Dig)
