Really exhausting to see people online talk about how genAI can be useful at a job they dont have experience working in, but you deeply do and even the thought of using it just makes you want to scream in 45 different directions.

this is really NOT the important part but I keep thinking that if you are going as far as generating AI graphics for your internal studio powerpoint presentations you have lost the plot and are spending time making it look slick and not on making it informative and moving on to some other task

It's cool how we keep proving over and over and over again that there's a significant market for narrative-heavy, character-driven, single-player experiences in video games and publishers just categorically refuse to believe us

The only way to ensure the future of this industry is to train the next generation of developers, and it is super disappointing to see how little leadership groups realize that. Mentoring helps but we need paid work and hands-on experience for juniors, period, full stop.
