The most important thing to remember about Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl is that Puerto Rico is a colony whose residents are US citizens and pay taxes but don't get to vote for the president, have no voting representation in Congress,

More workers were abducted today than pretty much any other single day over the course of the months-long federal occupation of Los Angeles.
We are still under siege. There is no other choice but to organize and fight back. Look out for one another and defend your neighbors!

Yes, this. You aren’t changing minds, you are merely participating in engagement farming which benefits them more than it does you.
It also sends an unfortunate message that their ideas are worth treating with *respect* and therefore socially *acceptable*. It suggests they offer a *legitimate* pov.

I will remind folks those images of Nazi book burnings aren't burning just any books. They're burning the library of Magnus Hirschfeld; a gay, Jewish doctor who created an institute dedicated to LGBTQ sex education and healthcare. And a man who pioneered gender affirming care surgeries.

Yes. But before we get to the primary process we should be thinking about who we don’t want to *end up* with. The way you end up with someone rather than choose is having “mean posts” stick in peoples minds and not “hates homeless people, doesn’t care about trans people”

Mayor Pete, what can you say about Israel's ongoing assassination of journalists?
Pete Buttigieg: I think that that's a profound question that arouses a lot of the biggest problems that have happened with Israel's survival, Israel's right to survival, in the diplomatic scene.

Mamdani’s criticism of Israel and support for Palestinians attracted voters, new poll shows
Zohran Mamdani's support of Palestinian rights and criticism of Israel swayed voters in the Democratic mayoral primary, a new poll finds.
A new poll from a progressive research group that accurately predicted Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral primary victory found that his criticism of Israel resonated with an overwhelming majority of Democratic voters and may have helped mobilize a wave of first-time and younger supporters.

Image on the left of an underweight baby attempting to smile. Images on the right of the same baby crying in agony during starvation.
Muhammad Shehada @muhammadshehad2
Suwar was evacuated from Gaza & underwent 6 weeks of intensive medical attention & nutrition
But his weight only increased from 3kg to 3.9kg
It'll take months & months & he'll never fully recover. The damage already done!
That's what genocide by starvation looks like; survivors of prolonged hunger would still suffer permanent & life-changing mental & physical damage. This includes muscle wasting, stunted growth, sepsis, meningitis, severe anemia, cardiovascular disease, hypertension & metabolic disorders...
A recent study found that "even 48 weeks after children recovered from acute malnutrition, they continued to show signs of inflammation in the gut and throughout their body, making them more likely to be readmitted to a hospital and die."
That damage is even passed down to descendants & future generations.
Israel's starvation of Gaza is a more potent & enduring form of genocide than bombs!
This baby was evacuated from Gaza and treated for starvation. He will never be the same physiologically as he would have been without being starved.
But, even so, notice his attempt to smile in the photo on the left. That spirit shows why it is CRITICAL for us to fight to save these precious souls.
