Here’s a little bit of happy news - my mother will turn 100 soon and was written up in her local paper.

I watched the first 2 episodes. The genie tells his client how he found her birth father AND traced her roots to the 1800’s in just one hour. So I’m a little skeptical so far.

As a retired surgeon, St Denis is the only “medical” show I can stand to watch. The others are so unrealistic (re medical disease/treatment). Reminds me a lot of “scrubs”

Had fun at the #soundofmusic sing along today. I had my edelweiss scarf and Trevor was the lonely goatherd for the costume contest.

So it’s Thanksgiving +2. The dishes are finally all done (it took multiple dishwasher loads). All that’s left to do is rid the fridge of leftovers. Can you guess what we’re having for dinner tonight?

Just finished reading “The Frozen River” by Ariel Lawhorn for my DAR book club. It was very interesting historical fiction based on a real life midwife in 1790 Maine. Highly recommend if you like #HistoricalFiction
