I finally started Silksong about a month ago, slowly progressing. Reached this place on a sad sleepless night, and it's atmosphere filled me with such a lonely and fatalistic feeling... it inspired me to draw something ~

This part of the lore was barely ever shared in public, and I don't want to explain it. But I think this piece is abstract enough for me to share the bits of the shattered.

It's hard to be a Creator and not become a Master to the created, especially if all you give it is a Sacred Mask of your own.

Heh, I imagine them a freak of a vessel. They aren't a "normal" being and can never be, while being an "empty one" sounds like a very... peculiar experience. Yet they still had life and strong dreams, so I think they are "lost" for a reason.

Another Lost Kin illustration I drew some time ago.

I don't really have a reason to why they became my fav character at first sight, so I just came up with one.

There is no dream more desperate than one of not being you in the first place.

Actually... none of the vessels have a horn shape similar to PK!
The Hollow Knight looks a lot like a Mantis Lord (which was even confusing)
Some random ones resemble Nailmasters and Ogrim...
So suspicious 🤔

...the way Lost Kin sleeps on a bench is just my mental state...

We tried Hollow Knight in coop, and I used the Lost Kin skin. When we came to Lemm to sell some stuff, my mate was like "say hi to your father". It confused me at first but then I saw it too, and Lemm's thoughts made it even funnier :')

In my original stories, Fai is able to see dreams, hidden truths and desires... does she have a Dream Nail? :D

Or something else? That will turn into the Forbidden Key...

It's fun that her supposed fully awakened "special ability" is what also makes it impossible to bind or seal her.

My mate called Fai a Dream Catcher and I think it fits ~
