Still stuck at the top set for Bench, but this is shoulder rehab - we go slow!

Added reps to the back off sets though, so all is not bad.

Up a little on the light Deadlifts, which is nice.

Decided to lower weight on Leg Press and concentrate on adding reps whilst slowing the reps down. Pain.

Due to car stuff, could only make the trip to the gym once this weekend, so both were done today with a nice lunch break in between. Nothing specially, just going through the motions due to stress tbh, but I'll take it.

23) Ad-hoc workout

Car is in the garage until tomorrow, so no access to the gym. So just doing some extra arms and core exercises at home just to keep moving and to distract from how much money the car fixing will cost 😭

First upper since return from Germany, so kept all weights the same.

Considering lowering the reps on the first two sets of bench, to keep the shoulders fresher for the main set. Am still rehabbing them so might be wise.

A beautifully unique experience for 30min, before turning sharply into a frustrating mess for the second half.

Sticks around far too long after what feels like the climax, and turns what should be the "victory lap" into a tedious and annoying derge.

4) BallXPit

Being away from FF7 for a week has seen me delve into the Steam Deck's bag of tricks, and emerge with this beaut.

Grindy for sure, but the core gameplay loop is so tight that you don't mind. A killer soundtrack finishes off the perfect handheld title.

Decided to drop the volume on the incline bench, because of shoulder issues, but add in more chest volume with the incline flies (which are weirdly more or less fine on the shoulder)

Off to Germany for a week tomorrow, so this is the last one for week - rest ♥️

As mentioned last week, sticking at 200kg at the top set until it feels more natural, before I go for 220kg (current 1rm 210)

Felt decent for 3 reps, will push for a comfortable 4!

Yeah, definitely time to listen to what my shoulders are telling me - lower weight, but more volume to compensate. Regain the stability in each set, then see about upping weight again!

Shoulder felt a little unstable, but grinded 4 on the top set, and added more reps on the cool down sets.

I'll be in Germany all next week, and no workouts, so that'll be very nice for shoulder recovery!
