Mammograms are painful and only 2D. CT could be better, but needs high dosage to reduce noise.
Using phase-contrast and AI denoising, MDAP's Rob Turnbull, Simon Mutch & team cut the dose 16Γ— with no loss of image quality. Working towards safe 3D breast cancer screening.
