which allows you to appreciate them more as characters !! in hsr and genshin they do grow as people and have their own arcs and development but it's compressed into a quest that lasts a couple hours so it doesn't fully feel the same

like yes we get to go back to each world every now and then for events but it's not the Same yknow. i get that it's a different narrative but like maybe i want to spend more time with certain characters!!! in hi3 you Literally watch them grow up and mature ++

THIS LITERALLY !! this has always been one of my major gripes with hsr and genshin even though i don't play anymore. at most you get like... 6 months to get attached to characters before a new wave comes in and completely overshadows the previous arc
