The ones from China were just from Aliexpress and I thought I'd give them a go, not bad, but I wouldn't recommend them. The ones from Italy were made by Lazzaro Italy and I bought them through Amazon. Those are really good replicas, especially for the price.

I got some replica ancient Greek coins in for use with tabletop gaming. I got 5 made in Italy (Left) and 5 made in China (Right). The Italian made ones do feel more authentic, but both are pretty good.

That is from the Corpse Wrangler and Murderjack set. It is just kind of a modern zombie with snakes coming out of its head. I will paint that up as a palette cleanser along the way, just bought the set for the birds and snake.

I got some new miniatures in today. One dragon that I will paint up for my fantasy army the Order of Heimdallr and some animals to improve some characters with a bit of fantasy flair for my Hellenistic army.

3-4 coats of a lighter mix later and that colour on the Red Tail looks a lot better. The coat might not be as smooth, but it will look much better when weathered.

I started on the paint work on the Red Tail and sadly the colour I mixed dried way darker than was intended as you can still see some drying on the body. I might paint over it with a lighter mix, we'll see as the tail also still needs a second coat.

Turning the Red Tail into a Black Tail and then a Chrome Tail for the first layers of paint. Doing it this way makes the metallics stand out really well and then I can then hand paint around them without the need for any masking.

I tried to watch the first episode of #Digimon #Beatbreak and when they translate adult for Digimon into Champion but not for humans, I question what else do they translate differently for whatever reasons. I'll watch it when it has proper subtitles and not #CrunchyRoll garbage.

With the way I built the model back in the day, I could not use the included stand. So I used the bottom half of it and made a stand with a brass rod, this should look good painted.

After a bit of plastic putty and an hour of sanding work the model and joins look and feel a lot smoother. Some more still needs to be done, but that is the worst of the mess on the main body cleaned up.
