Under luxon the Wellington harbour just has poo in it.

I listen to easy, 'don't have to concentrate too much' detective stuff for the same reason. Struggle with headspace for what I really want to read. But, coming to realisation that I just need to stop and give myself time to do nothing else, clear my mind and slow down.

Today, 144 years ago, 1600 Crown troops invaded a pacifist settlement that was the centre of resistance against British colonialism. The leaders were arrested, the settlement sacked, the people violated.
