An ongoing interest in the history and cultures of the Mongolian steppes and Iran, as well as curiosity about the upcoming Science Saru anime adaptation led me to the manga A Witch's Life in Mongol. I'm enjoying it and I think it's worth your time.

Also support small indie artists who are making these stories. Cancel subscription services. Subscribe to queer creators patreons or donate to them instead. Especially in this scary time of censorship regarding queer art.

I hope that families and kids can find comfort and happiness that there are folks out there who want these stories made. We don't need these conglomerates pandering to conservatives to rule the roost anymore when there are so many options out there.

I think if I learned that gay people existed when I was very little I would've felt such relief and would've just been like. "Cool can I watch Mulan again for the 100th time now" (ironic that a Disney film was one of the main things that really connected some sort of vague dots to me being trans)

We really need to show companies like Pixar and Disney that blatant homophobia and the excuse that kids are gonna be confused and will apparently need "millions of dollars of therapy" won't fly.
