Melissa Hortman is killed in a politically-motivated assasination, and the story is simply swept under the rug. Charlie Kirk is killed, and suddenly the media is in a frenzy about how our democracy is under attack, and how "dangerous" of a precedent this is. I can't roll my eyes back any further.
