The first gallery opening of this series was in Charleston SC. They loved the series so much they said βDo more!β I had an older painting of sheep in a field and quickly retrofitted the gallery with my paintings on the wall.

Early in the series. The idea of a big beautiful bird flying through a contained crapulous space has always been compelling to me.

A few years back I was in full swing with my animals in man made spaces. I started to wonder what else I could do with the idea. Iβd been painting and teaching abstract art for about 10 years, so I merged the two ideas. This was the very first one.
