A grid of unique emoji’s that suggest the wide range of feelings that swirl through my brain every waking minute.

I created a t-shirt design to encapsulate the range of emotions I, and presumably you as well, go through every f-cking minute of every day.

The first gallery opening of this series was in Charleston SC. They loved the series so much they said “Do more!” I had an older painting of sheep in a field and quickly retrofitted the gallery with my paintings on the wall.

A few years back I was in full swing with my animals in man made spaces. I started to wonder what else I could do with the idea. I’d been painting and teaching abstract art for about 10 years, so I merged the two ideas. This was the very first one.

It's International Holocaust Remembrance Day. I pulled this out of my illustration archive... a poster created for The Diary of Anne Frank, a play put on by the Children's Repertory Theater. It was a challenge to create a visual that told the story without showing the worst of it. 18x24 Pastel.

In an abandoned building we are drawn to a cluster of red fire extinguishers, but through the open doorway we see a couch covered with junk and a single sleeping fox. The painting is designed so that the fox is a surprise find.

2015, when this series started, inspired by an abandoned dry cleaner. Everything was just lying around like the people vaporized. This space inspired probably 20 paintings.

Gearing up for two shows back to back. This critter is called a capybara, they’re the largest rodent in the world. Very chill, will hang with anyone, herbivores, no natural enemies.

Created in 2016 as the wall rhetoric was at a fevered pitch. Still very relevant today. This study depicts a Patagonian Cavvy on the streets of Cuba. Having just returned from a trip to Havana.. which is another story.
