Though I do think you’re right. Democrats could elevate him to the status of a Democratic Reagan but haven’t done so yet. I think the fact that he’s living (and relatively young) has stopped them

Given his stature I think this is already true. And I think his decision to speak out sparingly reflects his own knowledge of that reality

LA County has declared a state of emergency BECAUSE OF the federal government.

The Feds, LA County is (correctly) saying, have CAUSED the emergency.

This is a striking political moment of internal collapse. Local govts feeling compelled to protect their ppl from … their own govt.

Greg Bovino, Kristi Noem, and DHS need to answer for their unchecked attacks on Chicago residents.

ICE is an out-of-control danger to our peaceful communities.

He has a right to do that, sure. Just like Americans have rights under the Second Amendment.

My reaction any time he brings it up…

Authoritarianism isn’t fun. Sorry. I don’t make the rules.

Getting out of this will require more than the occasional creative protest sign and your bi-monthly peaceful march.

You don’t necessarily need to sacrifice your life over it, but, if you’re serious, you will need to sacrifice.

Given the kid’s age, I can’t imagine he has much of a criminal history. He hardly has *any* history.

I know this isn’t representative of the whole, but it’s astounding how many liberals clutch their pearls when I suggest the best strategy we have in this moment is to provoke an overreaction (nonviolently) from the state.

“So you’re suggesting we volunteer to be beaten?” Kind of, yeah.

FWIW I don’t want these people to shut up.

We need to teach our youth how to debate in a civil manner, sure. But we also need to teach our young men to stand up for what they believe in. You cannot win the war of ideas if one side actively hides its true nature but acts on those beliefs anyway.

I always considered their writing a little tech-adjacent but this is just straight garbage
