Just practise I think. I returned to hobby after a long break. My first cw contact was a bit of a shambles. It gets better and then becomes fun to do. It's a really human form of communication and I love it. Keep up the good work

Yep. I went for the M&P cable and plugs. They are expensive BUT... are very straightforward to fit and weather resistant. After years of fiddling about with cr*ppy cheap connectors and cable, I have made the astonishing discovery that if you buy decent stuff it just works!
