An honorary cap will finally be awarded to the family of Frank Soo and the Frank Soo Foundation at Wembley Stadium before the friendly between England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 on Thursday 9 October.

This announcement was made during the Frank Soo Champions Cup at St Georges Park, during ESEA Heritage Month.

Frank was the first person from a Chinese heritage to play in the Football League (Stoke in 1933), the first poc to represent England in 9 wartime & victory friendlies and the first person from an Asian heritage to manage a team and win a domestic European championship (Djurgardens IF 1954/55)

We have been blown away being nominated as Charity of the Year at the Community, Corporate & Culture Awards.

Regardless how we do, we appreciate the nomination and hope more people can learn about Frank Soo and the work our organisation does.

Today is the anniversary of Frank Soo’s first England game.
