Made a graphic for the upcoming protests if anyone wants to use it. One is a PNG with transparent background. Modeled after my cat who is always a sweetheart, so the attitude is artistic license.

I finally got the entire Natsume's Book of Friends series, well, until the next one releases at least! すばらしい!

Went to see Hadestown at Fair Park today. Great show and great company.

In my two-year stint running an elementary school library, I couldn't keep these books on the shelves. I even started a waiting list. Yet, I had teachers ask me not to loan them, one wanted some of them removed entirely. I told them no, my job was to let students read, not stop them.

Watercolor, Natsume and Nyanko-sensei from Natsume's Book of Friends. I'm actually kind of proud of how I finally managed some of the softness I like about watercolor. Mine usually just look like acrylic.

Got my Goodreads year in review. So glad I was able to meet and surpass my goal without trying to rush at the end. Thanks to the audiobooks at my local library for that!

Mine were both a week early, no complications. No epidural. About seven hours labor from water breaking to delivery. I was so energized after, I didn't realize my legs were shaky, lol. Nearly fell. And now I've got two awesome adult kids to brag on. You've totally got this! And it's so worth it!

Kiddo requested an Over the Garden Wall bag, so I made him this!
