Yes! I feel like the CS really set him up well for series 6. Though he didn't have much to do in series 5, I feel like we learned about what was really going on with him over the series and a type of resolution to his home coming in the CS. Tris is entering a new era. He's his own man. Can't wait!

I love the parallel with the S2CS. In S2, her look out seemed foreboding. This one was more hopeful. Two out of three of their boys is now home and one has survived a terrible attack. They aren't out of the woods yet, but much to be thankful for and hope that the best is yet to come.

The scene where Mrs. Hall calls out for Mr. Farnon's help w/the fox...haunting. It sounds like a cry after waking up from a nightmare. She was so stoic, but she did go to him for help via the fox. She knows she can count on him. Just as she did w/ Bingo. He came through. Finally able to help.

For real. I was like, she's going to get rabies! Made me think of the Little House on the Prairie episode when Ma Ingles get gangrene and has to cut it out. Bleh! Btw, could totally seeing Audrey Hall being a badass like that.

Siegfried is the only one who knows about Edward's past- as far as we know. Siegfried giving Edward a clean slate and telling him that all is forgiven b/c Edward's mistakes in the past led his mom to Skeldale.

After all these years of no one ever questioning their relationship, that may actually fit. Him saying how much his mum thinks of Mr. Farnon and Siegfried admitting, for the first time, what she means to him. Edward acknowledging he's a good man; his mum deserves more than she got in the past.

He looks like the divorced dad after the kids chose mom.

I actually felt like he deserved it. Of course she's going to feed the fox. Hello, Dash?! And the way she went to him for help😢She was clearly so fragile, and he was a tad harsh.

I really feel Edward got in trouble all those years ago b/c he wanted to help his mum. That's my head cannon. He stole to get money to help her w/something. Poor kid. He came from a broken home. Seeing his dad disrespecting his mum.

Edward is Audrey's son. So sweet of him to ask his mum to check on his mate.

My man hung back a tad too much for me. Keep holding back and this writer's wish will be fulfilled.
