I find this happens less in vegan/furry spaces.

I feel your pain. It's difficult to find friends through mutual hobbies sometimes without later finding out that you don't feel you click with them.

How can some furs be so into the fandom that they pay to attend a con but still so ignorant of basic furry etiquette? Even if you're new & at your first con how do people not know this stuff that is in the con book, in YouTube videos etc? Or do you not care because your fun is more important to you?

Great, the only sunny Saturday we're likely to have for months and I slept through most of it.
