The deeper I go in Silksong, the less I think I like it. There's just more content that feels significantly more like a chore than anything.
I'm currently in Bilewater and the tedium involved in doing the "runback" to this boss has me wondering if I'd just be better off doing something else.

Been playing through Silksong on-and-off for the past few weeks, and I really don't know how I feel about it right now.
It leaned harder on the Souls influences over the Metroidvania influences, and while I like the combat and feel more, I am not sure I prefer that emphasis?
Also: way more tedium
Them banning both my alma matters, including one with only like 6000 enrolled is very funny to me
The number of universities listed that also operate as UARCs is very oh no own goal as well
