Great to meet you too! Yes, that’s what I’m pondering on, we are definitely at a major inflection point. I am excited about a lot of the change - I feel like we have been ready for a move from the basic knowledge acquisition for a long time!!

One of my best moments of the year was when Nitya Kuthiala was selected for 30U30 at #OEB24

For leaders out there: it’s not about what you can “get” people to do, it’s about what you can enable people to do.

Seeing her present today was a full circle moment.

My first observation - these words have been prominent for at least the last 12 yrs at tech conferences even though GenAi & LLM, have undoubtedly changed things. 🤔

My team member, Nitya, is presenting as part of the 30U30 session at #oeb - and she got a laugh in the first 20 seconds 😆👏

Them:
“Oh, I didn’t recognise you, you look like a teenager”

FYI: It is never a compliment to tell someone in a professional environment that they look like a teenager.

I had a weird feeling coming in this morning that people wouldn’t take me seriously because I look young - which is dumb, because I’m in my 40s and I’ve been doing this for 20 years.

Key message is the power of visceral experiences for deeper understanding. This is why when I teach about team dynamics I create real experiences of being in a team #oeb
