a tumblr post reading the following message: i ran away from home yesterday. to say this process has been unbearably difficult to manage is beyond an understatement. im trying to find shelters in my area right now, none of them have had any openings. i feel guilty staying at my friend's house, i feel so out of place here and alien. im going to try to get my grandparents' numbers, if i can't do that there's more shelters i can call, its just so so draining having to explain what happened and all of that over and over and over again to the strangers on the other line. there's this thought in the back of my mind that i can go back home, that i can just go back, and while i know i can i also know i shouldn't. abuse should be easier to escape than this. i have no other words to say than that. i am fucking twenty years old with a good support system that lives near a pretty large city and im still finding this task to be excessively hard. this would not be in the slightest bit realistically possible for a lonely fourteen year old in a small town, it just wouldn't. im not sure its even possible for me, im still having serious thoughts about going back "home". i don't even know where im going with this, or why im even writing it, i just wish this was easier.
