Oddly, coercing researchers through threats requests that require cost-prohibitive legal representation does not make their list of things that censor otherwise free speech.

This is a pretty bold stance. It would be a more credible policy if the US agreed to take part in responses to airspace violations, GPS jamming, and other gray zone threats to NATO countries

Think of an economy as like baking a cake. H1-B visas exist so that if you're out of a specific ingredient, you can Instacart it and keep baking. Add a $100k delivery charge and you'll choose to:
1. Quit baking; or
2. Use an inferior recipe; or
3. Import cake instead of making it

Hanania's pinned tweet links to his post about crime rates. He says, "In the crime discussion, conservatives talk about race and blue cities. Liberals talk about high crime rate in red states. Who is right? I do a deep dive into the data. The answer is clear. Race is the main factor, and partisanship has no impact at all."
Just a reminder that Richard Hanania is not a centrist and has not changed his white supremacist views. The data most definitely doesn't show crime rates are about race unless you ignore every other causative variable (urban/rural, poverty, population density, etc.).
