Spending all my days working with my kids on assignments that demand that they develop opinions about everything.
Spending my nights blocking people on this site who have very loud and decided opinions on everything.

They're trying to justify their stance and get everyone off their back.
I've been watching the rhetoric for a while and I find it interesting. Lots of people here who were determined to hate Kat from the outset and this is all they have left.
They're either bots or full of toxic rage.

I don't think anyone truly believes that a representative *must* live in the district. I think people are saying this to appeal to others because the reasons they're voting against a candidate aren't as easy to defend.
This way they catch racists on the right and skeptics on the left.

One of my profs this year is phoning it in and I've been going through any and all info I can find on faculty guidelines. There is very, very little concerning faculty use of AI.
It's astounding.

In my community you have to sign your kids up at 5 for most sports. There are no accommodations for kids with disabilities unless it's very serious and then you often have to drive far away. Coaches and parents yell and swear.
Why are we doing this?

This is really well written and it makes me sad to think of all of the rebuttals I have heard (by clergy!) that boil down to everyone having a place and being a mother is special, too!
I don't know that a lot of them are smart enough for this discussion.
But I appreciate seeing it laid out.

I think Chappell Roan was trying to channel Alfonse Mucha. This style was also popular in the 70's, in a kind of fantasy-elf way. In the 90's it was sort of revisited in a kind of fantasy-fairy way.

I have to agree, Hollywood good have been much more authentic.

I hated hats for a long time and used parasols instead.
Hand painted paper and bamboo. One of mine is a star of interlocking squares with peacocks on it.

Honestly I should practice Japanese during lectures as long as they are as repetitive as last year.

Christmas project number 3 complete: finished the top of my tree skirt. Started making plans for the top stitching. Hoping to get the bottom and batting cut out this weekend. Gotta research a border and will probably do that during class *shhhhhhh*.

These are bad times for doom scrolling.

If you have the skills to easily do your work properly, asking a computer to fart out something fast and getting not really what you wanted is never going to be good enough for someone who is enough of a perfectionist to become an artist.

The person responding in this image does not understand how artists work. Part of learning your craft is learning to communicate through your art but also how to articulate your ideas with words etc. AI can't do either. It can only deliver random generic images.

Unfortunately the money goes to the chair, not to the hairdresser.

The hairdresser situation is dire because of the cost of chair rental around here.
When things are bad I wear a bandana until I can make the drive to my hairdresser's house. Once a year.

These have been specifically arranged so that the melody is playable on a Nuvo toot. The harmony line is for a regular flute, and the 'bass' part is playable on a Jsax.
But really, any C instrument can play any part.
