Most of my little free time was spent sketching so I only got this far with actual painting before dinner time

Glad I’m not winging it this time… 3 eyed skull, not too hard. 4 eyes? Oof.

Taking a break from painting hagglethorn hollow buildings because I completely forgot to paint more of my GM initiative trackers, and now our game’s hiatus ends next weekend 😅

This all began with a concerned mutual reaching out to me, stating that they saw a notification that pointed at me using the Meta AI app and asking if my stance on generative AI had changed. That’s when I learnt that Meta has been quietly using random people’s accounts to promote their app. The catch is… these people never actually downloaded the app. Including myself. I just wanted to make this post to warn people. If you see a notification like that - know that it’s a lie, I never downloaded any AI app and never will. I’m an artist who values hard work and human effort, and generative AI repulses me to an unimaginable degree.

If you follow me on Instagram and you receive a notification about me joining or downloading Meta AI well, IT'S A FUCKING LIE. Meta is blatantly lying to us in order to make us download that fucking sludge-generator. I would never touch GenAI with a 10 foot pole.

Magic item card for Dungeons & Dragons 5e by Cloaks and Capes. Text: Wrist-Mounted Dragon’s Breath Wondrous Item, rare “A small canister of condensed energy siphoned from the plane of fire hidden under a leather bracer. The bracer has a red dragon design embossed onto it, so when the flames shoot forward, it looks like the dragon is releasing them.” This device has 4 charges, it regains 1d4 charges daily at dawn. You can take a Magic action to expend a charge and shoot flames from this device in a 15-foot-long, 5-foot-wide Line. Any creature in the path of the flames must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 Fire damage or half as much on a success. Blaze of Glory. As a Magic action you can cause this device to explode in a 15-foot-radius Sphere, expending all remaining charges. Any creature in the blast must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 Fire damage for each charge expended, or half as much damage on a success. Once you use this property, this device is destroyed.

When the Rogue in your D&D party asks to salvage a flamethrower off of an automaton...

You have to say yes! Will I regret it later? Maybe. Is their reaction and the fun they have worth it? Every time.

What is a Dungeons and Dragons homebrew magic item you've made, or that a DM has made for you?

Moonbell flowers make a soft tinkling sound in the breeze and produce a soft glow when in full bloom. I love creating new flora for the worlds I create but love illustrating them even more. Flowers and food are so satisfying to draw.
