From Tehran: "It’s catastrophic. The smoke has entered our homes, the flames are still rising and it feels like the sun is shining… The flames are so bright the highways look like it’s day time. So bright but doesn’t feel right... Help please!”

A.I. was used to cancel most previously approved grants by the National Endowment for the Humanities as the agency embraced Trump’s agenda. The prompt was simple: “Does the following relate at all to D.E.I.?"

Helluva way for the president to refer to dead soldiers — soldiers killed in a war he started.

It feels like another tipping point is being crossed rn… back-&-forth refinery strikes, Tehran in flames. Trump demanding unconditional surrender, de facto boasting of bombing Iranian desal. US & Israel are pushing Iran to fire everything it has at the region’s weakest links. Unimaginably dangerous.

Transpolitics is the beginning of the disappearance of politics in the dwindling of the last commodity: duration. Democracy, consultation, the basis of politics, requires time. Duration is the proper of man; he is inscribed within it. For me, transpolitics is the beginning of the end. That's where my understanding of it radically differs from Jean Baudrillard's: for him it's positive. For me, it's totally negative. I fight against the disappearance of politics. I'm not saying that we should revert to ancient democracy, stop the clock and all that. I'm saying that there's work to be done, the epistemo-technical work we were talking about before, in order to reestablish politics, at a time when technology no longer portions out matter and geographical space (as was the case in ancient democratic society, but when technology portions out time and I would say: "The depletion of time."

声優にとって声は訓練や経験を重ねて磨きをかけた「商品」ですが、販売や使用を止めるのは難しい現実があります。
