something that will always make me cry is that estinien never had to wait to say that he loves khei even after that nuclear breakup in heavensward, but it took him until endwalker for his heart to fully mend and to trust them with it again. he forgave them immediately after their reunion too

i did a partial comic for it a while back, its where this shot came from... estinien had kheis eye (he didnt know until khei said so), and he didnt want to give it up out of fear that they would leave forever after that. so khei let him hold onto it a while longer

in canon and rp they tend to be very offputting and have the "alien trying to mimick human interaction" energy so it makes sense LOL
