For example, Bebop, Skull & Crossbones has "Partner with Rocksteady, Mutant Marauder", so not only could those two be your commanders, if you cast Bebop and it enters, you could search your library for Rocksteady and put it into your hand.

There is another variant of partner, phrased as "Partner with X", where X is another card's name, that functions similar to normal partner, but also lets a player search their library for a card named "X" when it enters.

A: Nope - you're getting your partner abilities confused. On Michelangelo, its partner ability just lets you have a second commander if that other commander also has "Partner-Character Select". It doesn't let you search for anything.

Splinter had protection from black because of the Sword, so he can't target himself with his ability.

I think you're forgetting about one important game:

Poker Night at the Inventory remastered.

A: Yes you can. While that ability does require black mana to activate, Shizo itself is colorless, not black. Since Shizo is colorless, you can target a creature with protection from black with the ability, and it will gain fear for the turn.

A: You cannot. Iroh only gives instants and sorcery cards in your graveyard flashback. Iroh won't give flashback to cards in other zones, like exile. You won't be able to get any instant or sorcery card you want out of exile with the Creeper's ability, only if the card naturally has flashback.

At least this will make it clear which format people are talking about when they mention Duel Commander now.

This is something they've avoided doing in the past - updating the text of a card in later print runs of the same set (see Hostage Taker). Maybe this is fine, because it's a common?

Interesting. Remember how Diplomatic Relations in EOE was printed with the wrong text, missing "you control" and was errataed upon release? Apparently, they fixed that in the second print run of Edge of Eternities. From reddit:

Since you discarded five cards, Cool but Rude triggers five times and you'll deal a total of 10 damage to your opponents.

A: Yes it will! You still discard the cards, even if Necrodominance replaces going to the graveyard with being exiled instead. And the level 2 ability of Cool but Rude triggers for each card you discarded, even if you discard multiple cards at the same time.

Q: I control Cool but Rude, which has been leveled up to level 2, along with a Necrodominance. During my end step, I pay 10 life to draw 10 cards. If I discard 5 cards due to hand size, will Cool but Rude trigger? #mtg

Of course you don't. You cast planeswalkers, you don't play them.

Since the other 5/5 is assigning 5 damage to the 0/5 Wall of Glare, the 5/5 with trample doesn't need to assign any damage to the Wall of Glare and can assign all five damage to you, the defending player.

A: You'll take up to five damage from the trampler (but probably five). When we assign damage in combat, the trampler takes into account damage already marked on the creature and damage being assigned by other creatures at the same time to determine if it has lethal damage assigned to it.

Day 231 of Natedogg's Daily Rules Tip:

Q: I have a Wall of Glare in play. My opponent attacks me with a 5/5 with trample and a 5/5 without trample, and I block both with Wall of Omens. Do I take any trample damage? #mtg

A: The Wall is exiled and returned tapped and attacking. Defender only prevents the creature from being declared as an attacker. It doesn't matter if some effect puts it onto the battlefield attacking. So your Wall will end up as an attacking creature (but you do get the Alliance and Wall triggers)
