I’ve got a research deck I put together I’ll dig out to share. It breaks down how parents and giftgivers by generation buy games for kids.

The key takeaway is that parents approach board game purchases very differently from video games, especially when it comes to what they expect to pay.

I'm sure! It's a kick ass set with lots of toyetic bits that help transform the experience.

I am unsure if you have little ones, but it's been my experience that the more physical items I can hand to the kids group I run (ages 8-11), the more they grok the game.

I hear you there! My nine year old has been champing at the bit to get this set because of the toyetic elements.

As a parent? Waitinf until it goes on sale a week after launch on Amazon.
