We found that older adults of Black race and dual-eligible for Medicare and Medicaid were ⬇️ likely to get rehabilitation services at home compared to those of non-Hispanic White race and no Medicaid insurance, respectively

Using @NHATS_NSOC linked to @MedicareGov Claims, we investigated the association between

🔸 Medicaid status
🔸 Race and Ethnicity
🔸 Education &
🔸Limited English Proficiency

and rehabilitation delivered within 100 days of ICU Hospitalization across home and SNF settings

🔹 >40% patients NEVER got a rehabilitation consultation

🔹 Hospitals varied ~ 2-fold in the likelihood of delivering rehabilitation to patients with identical characteristics
