How she hasn't the faintest idea, and she thinks the other woman knows more than her on what's going on, but Ysayle wants to cheer her up.

For a moment she finds herself speechless, grappling with the feelings of shock, tenderness and the feelings of not deserving such compassion.

When finally she is able to compose herself she grabs the hand to close to hers, grip weak, and gives it a small squeeze.
