But once I realize what it is I think “Maybe it’ll just stop one its own?” But you know it won’t stop on its own. So I wonder around my apartment thinking “Where is my smoke detector anyway?”

I was sleeping so well, too. Went to bed early cause I’ve gotta be up early. And then *BEEP*. But not a long *BEEP* a very short *BEEP* and only once every 30 seconds or so. Short enough and long enough apart for me to think “Am I hearing things?”

My smoke alarm decided that 1AM was the best time to let me know the battery was low.
